Advice Centre Volunteer (989 KB DOC file)
Our Advice Centre helps hundreds of people each year with information and advice on a range of disability issues. Could you use your own knowledge and experience of disability to help others? This role is based at our Kemp Town office and volunteers work as part of a supportive and inclusive team. This role is a great way to utilise your own knowledge and experience of disability, although full training is given. We'd be happy to have a chat about the role - give us a call!
Employment Service Admin (Brighton or Hastings) (980 KB DOC file)
Would you be interested in proving office support for our Community Employment Service? The project helps people move into and sustain work and we are looking for volunteers to help with administration in both Hastings and Brighton. This role gives you a real chance to make a difference to people's lives, whilst building your own skills and confidence. Our friendly team are always on the look out for new members, maybe it could be you?

Our Engagement & Inclusion Team give a voice to people with lived experience of mental health, and they need ongoing help with general admin and event support for the service. If you're looking for a varied role where you can help make a real difference then this could be the one for you.
Payroll & Finance Administration Volunteer (978 KB DOC file)
Could you provide administrative support to our Payroll & Finance Team? Based in Kemp Town, Brighton, our team provide a vital service to clients using Direct Payments, assisting them to use Payroll or Supported Bank Accounts to manage their PAs. This is a great role if you are looking to gain experience in a finance environment or want to improve on your general office and admin skills.

Our Reception is the front door to our services. Would you like to gain some general office experience? Do you like meeting and greeting or chatting to people on the phone? We're always looking for more volunteers to join our brilliant team and be the friendly face of our services. This is a fab role for those looking to gain office experience and confidence. No experience? No problem - if you're friendly, organised and can use a phone then we'd love to hear from you.
Shopmobility Volunteer (985 KB DOC file)
Shopmobility is a vital service providing scooters and wheelchairs for low cost hire. Could you meet and greet customers and help deliver equipment across Brighton and Hove? Shopmobility could be just the ticket. We're looking for volunteers to join our friendly team based in Churchill Square, Brighton, maintaining the scooters and wheelchairs, as well as whizzing around Brighton on the scooters to get them where they need to go. It's a great role if you like getting out and about rather than being tied to the office.

Trustees are vital in giving direction to what we do and as a user-led organisation 75% of our trustees have lived experience of disability. Could you be a voice for disabled people and improve opportunities for all? Perhaps you have a specialist area you have knowledge in such as IT, finance, social media or HR, or maybe you have specialist knowledge and lived experience of disability. You don't need to have a professional background or years of experience to become a trustee, why not take a look at our application pack to find out more?

This is a new role and we're actively seeking a Treasurer to provide financial insight and guidance, interpreting and sharing information with the rest of the board.
Wellbeing Volunteer (990 KB DOC file)
Can you provide a friendly voice to older or more vulnerable people being discharged from hospital? Our Hospital Discharge Service needs help phoning older people to provide wellbeing support and identify activities and services to aid their recovery. If you're friendly, compassionate and organised we'd love to hear from you.
