How we are funded

Possability People is supported by a range of funders, to whom we are very grateful.

The Advice Centre was funded by The Henry Smith Charity, The Ernest Kleinwort Charitable Trust  and Brighton and Hove City Council.

The Get Involved Group was funded by Brighton and Hove City Council and Brighton and Hove Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG)

Emergency Covid-19 funding from the National Lottery Community Fund enabled the Get Involved Group to offer support to isolated disabled people in West Sussex (our Safe At Home project).

We also received COVID-19 Community Relief funding from Barclays Charities Trust to cover PPE distribution to our client groups.

Our MSK service is funded by Sussex MSK Partnership and Sport England.

The Hospital Discharge Support Service is funded by NHS Brighton & Hove Clinical Commissioning Group and Brighton & Hove City Council.

Shopmobility is funded by Brighton & Hove City Council and from hire fees from users of the wheelchairs and other mobility devices.

Our Community Employment Service has a range of funding from The National Lottery Community Fund and contracts with the Department of Work & Pensions.

Our Payroll and Supported Bank Accounts Service and At Home are self financing.

We are also extremely grateful to our supporters who give regularly, or who give their time willingly and kindly in a whole raft of fundraising endeavours.
