Calling wheelchair users in East Sussex

Consultation questionnaire on the experiences of wheelchair users and their carers throughout East Sussex (Not Brighton and Hove) who use emergency ambulances.

East Sussex Wheelchair Services Collaborative is the service user and carers group for adults and children representing around 15,000 NHS wheelchair users in East Sussex.

The purpose of the consultation is to gather the experiences of wheelchair users of all ages, and their parents/carers, of using emergency ambulances in East Sussex.  Once collated, they will share these experiences, anonymously, with South East Coast Ambulance Service, discussing with them what works well for wheelchair users and what doesn’t work so well, with a view to seeking ways of improving their emergency ambulance service experience in the future.

The closing date for the return of questionnaires is 7 September, and Healthwatch East Sussex will be supporting wheelchair users and carers at a feedback meeting with SECAmb taking place in September 2018.’
