Legal Walk

The Brighton Legal Walk is an annual fundraising event organised by the London Legal Support Trust.

What is the Legal Walk?

The Brighton Legal Walk brings together local legal professionals and local advice agencies to raise money. Possability People’s Advice Centre is one of the recipients of the donations and last year raised over £3000.

It takes place after work and this year is starting at 5pm on Wednesday 11 September. It starts at Brighton Magistrates Court and follows a route along the seafront to Hove Town Hall.

75%of our staff and volunteers are disabled

Our walkers (and scooter users!) this year:

What does the Advice Centre do?

Possability People’s Advice Centre is getting more calls about the cost of living crisis. Disabled people are disproportionately affected by it because they are often at home more and therefore use more heating and lighting. Lots of people the Advice Centre sees don’t have access to the internet or digital services and lose out on any of the discounts or deals available this way.
