Who are Possability People?

Possability People is a charity that focuses on empowering people with lived experience to be actively involved in the design, delivery, and evaluation of services. Since 2021, Possability People has been commissioned to support lived experience involvement across the Community Mental Health and is now working with the Brighton & Hove UOK Partnership. In this role, the charity facilitates the meaningful participation of individuals with lived experience of mental health challenges, ensuring their voices are heard and their insights are integrated into the development and improvement of mental health services.

Through co-production, Possability People helps to shape services that are more responsive, accessible, and relevant to the needs of those they serve, promoting diversity and inclusion, and improving outcomes for individuals with severe mental illness.

What is the LEAG?

Our Mental Health Lived Experience Advisory Groups (LEAGs) are a way to make sure those voices are heard. They bring together people with lived experience of mental health challenges — including some carers — to talk honestly about what could be better.
