“Let’s make sure disabled voices are heard.”

Lucy Vallis, Chief Officer

Lucy said “the UK Government has launched a consultation on the disability benefit reform announced yesterday. We need to make sure real experiences shape the future, not just government cost-cutting.”

These changes could mean:

❌ Tougher rules to qualify for PIP & Universal Credit

❌ More face-to-face assessments

❌ Barriers to support for young Disabled people

“We encourage disabled people to have their say via the consultation. Let’s make sure disabled voices are heard.”
